Condensate traps are contaminated during the soldering process with flux, which is specifically deposited here. The heat transfer is significantly disturbed by these flux residues which results in no further deposits as soon as the condensate traps are heavily contaminated.
During the soldering process, PCBs are attached to solder frames, which in turn are also contaminated by flux residues and gas emissions.
The removal of flux residues from the condensate traps and solder frames therefore plays an important role. ZESTRON offers different cleaners to remove low-solid, rosin-based, synthetic and water-soluble fluxes.
