During soldering, condensation traps become heavily contaminated with flux residues. The deposition of flux directly impacts the heat transfer, which results in less to no additional flux condensation.
A similarly heave flux deposition can be noticed with solder pallets. Flux residues range from rosin, water soluble, no-clean to synthetic formulations.
For reasons of overall process reproducibility, the removal of baked on flux residues from condensation traps and solder pallets merits a separate cleaning process. With specifically developed cleaning technologies such as the ATRON® SP 200, ZESTRON’s Global Team looks forward to supporting you selecting the solder pallets and condensation traps process that meets your specific requirements.
