Manassas, VA – March 23, 2010 ZESTRON, the worldwide leading supplier of high precision cleaning agents and services for the electronics manufacturing industry, will focus on greener cleaning products and processes at the APEX 2010, April 6 – 8, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
In the past, the electronics manufacturing industry has relied on alkaline cleaning products to remove flux residues. However, recent studies have shown that pH-neutral defluxing agents offer an excellent alternative while providing the numerous advantages of pH-neutrality. In some cases, these greener products, such as ZESTRON’s revolutionary VIGON® N 501, perform better than their alkaline counterparts, particularly when removing flux residues under low standoff components. PH-neutral cleaning agents can significantly reduce effluent volumes and eliminate the need for excessive waste water neutralizations, thus, leading to greener, more cost effective cleaning processes.
Furthermore, recent research has also shown that DI-water cleaning processes are reaching their limitations. Implementing chemistry-assisted cleaning processes seems to offer a number of previously unknown long-term benefits that exceed those of DI-water. For an insight on this topic, please join Umut Tosun, M.S.Chem.Eng., Application Technology Manager, ZESTRON America, who will present “Limitations of DI-Water Cleaning Processes” at the APEX 2010 on Tuesday, April 6th, 2010, 3 – 5 pm, session “Cleaning II,” room S07.
ZESTRON’s Application Technology and Sales Team will be readily available to answer all your questions regarding our innovative product technologies during the IPC/APEX 2010 at booth #865.
