Reliability Testing and Protection

Online Training

The surface and material characterization in electronics production can be essential for the correct functioning of assemblies, coatings and thus the end product. A meaningful analysis method to assess material or system properties is electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The seminar offers an overview of the use of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) in electronics production as well as valuable insights into specific fields of application and experience with EIS.

▶ You will learn

  • Industry standards: How does EIS currently appear?
  • Introduction into impedance spectroscopy
  • Specific applications of EIS:
    - Moulding
    - Coating for corrosion protection
    - Process development
    - Humidity absorption
  • Other analysis methods such as REM/EDX and FTIR
  • Outlook and development of the method

▶ Your benefit

You will receive extensive and practical knowledge of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)

You will get valuable insights in specific use cases of the method

You will get an overview of further methods for material testing

You have the opportunity for intensive exchange and networking with the experts at a joint evening event

Please note: The presentations’ language is English. There will be no translation.
