Technical and ionic cleanliness in electronics

The increasing performance of sensor systems and the growing integration of power electronics in vehicles open new worlds of the future. At the same time, they increase the risk of ionic contamination  and particles. You will learn which purity requirements apply to the automotive sector and which methods are relevant for measuring and assessing technical cleanliness and how to use them.

You will learn

  • Cleanliness requirements from standards and automotive delivery conditions
  • Methods for particle measurement of electronic assemblies
  • Measurement and risk evaluation of ionic contamination
  • Evaluation of measurement results
  • Cleaning processes for removing ions, films and particles

Your benefit

  • Risk assessment of technical cleanliness and ionic contamination for automotive applications
  • Practice part with important tips for your daily work:
    - Risk assessment of ionic contamination
    - Measurement of particles with extraction process
    - Risk assessment of particles regarding breakdown voltage
  • Exchange with experienced lecturers and participants
