Application and Utilisation of Protective Coatings for Electronic Assemblies

An electronic module is only suitable if it guarantees safe function for a defined period of time. In an increasing number of cases, the module is used in greater electrical sensitivity or under difficult conditions. The safe function of an assembly is then only ensured by means of a protective coating.

Description

What you can expect

An electronic module is only suitable if it guarantees safe function for a defined period of time. In an increasing number of cases, the module is used in greater electrical sensitivity or under difficult conditions. The safe function of an assembly is then only ensured by means of a protective coating.

In the German-speaking area, there is only the GfKORR guideline for the application and properties of a protective coating. The content of the guideline is trained in the seminar so that a comprehensive and fundamental understanding of the coating and its possible applications for the functionality of electronic assemblies is achieved.

  • Requirements for protective coatings

  • Classification and properties of protective lacquers

  • Pretreatment, application process and handling during processing

  • Avoidance of errors, test methods and repair

  • Comparison to IPC standards

  • You will get practical knowledge - created and presented jointly by designers, producers, coaters and users of electronic assemblies

  • You will get a comprehensive understanding of the entire coating process - from the choice of laqueur to application and testing

  • You will receive your own copy of the guideline "Application and processing of protective lacquers for electronic components" in the current edition

  • You benefit from the exchange with the experienced authors and speakers

Online Training

Uncomplicated participation
The intensive training is held via the Webex Meetings service. After your registration you will receive a registration confirmation as well as an invitation to the Webex meeting including time and access. To participate in the training session, simply click on the "Join Meeting" button. No download of the program is required.

Procedure
The intensive training is planned for half a day. Sufficient breaks are always taken between the individual programme items. The detailed plan can be found in the programme linked above.
