Comprehensive cleaning evaluations with the latest industry standards and requirements.
Services & supportEvaluating Your Electronics' Surface Cleanliness
ZESTRON provides the support and services with years of industry experience to powers the performance, reliability and longevity of your electronic assemblies. You can count on us for the comprehensive cleaning evaluations with IPC standards, J-STD, MIL or the latest industry requirements - utilizing various test techniques, including optical, chemical and physical analysis.
analytical service Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR)
Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) is an analytical technique that measures and identifies organic residues, contaminations, stains, films, particles, etc, on surfaces. Measurement mode like ATR, reflection and tranmission are adapted to relevant problem. The analysis provides valuable information about the chemical composition of materials and products, ensuring quality, troubleshoot problems, and optimize reliable manufacturing processes.
We offer:
Analysis tailored to your problem and comprehensive evaluation in a technical report.

analytical service Ion Chromatography
The ion chromatography analysis offers qualitative & quantitative determination of anions, cations and weak organic acids(WOA). This method enables identification of critical hygroscopic ions such as chloride, bromide, or sulphate. It provides the risk assessment based on the ion contamination found on the electronic assembly according to type and quantity. Applies the IPC TM-650 2.3.28 test methods.
We offer:
Qualitative & quantitative analysis of the problem and comprehensive evaluation in a technical report.
analytical service C3 (Critical Cleaning Control)
C3 test measures and assesses the cleanliness of a specific extracted area of a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) by calculating the Corrosivity Index (C.I.) during the test. It provides the result indicating a simple ‘Clean / Dirty’ by analyzing current leakage from the solution used for extraction.
We offer:
Analysis tailored to your problem and comprehensive evaluation in a technical report.

analytical service Ionic Contamination (ROSE Test)
Ionic contamination also know as the ROSE test is an extractive analysis technique to determine the average ionic contaminations on electronic assemblies. It detects ionic/conductive substances for initial risk assessment on PCBAs that could lead to field failures. Test method of IPC TM-650 2.3.25 and evaluation of measurement result with IPC Standard J-STD-001 are applied in this.
We offer:
Identification of the ionic contamination on your electronic assemblies and comprehensive evaluation in a technical report.

analytical service Coating Layer Test
Coating layer test visually indicates defects in the protective coating on electronic assemblies by utilising a black color reaction. The test is used for rapid detection of closed and dense coatings (solvent-based coatings, µ-coatings, parylene) on tin, copper, nickel & nickel-containing compounds as well as other base metals and alloys.

analytical service Flux Test
This analytical test detects non-visible flux residues by indicating local distribution of carboxylic-based flux activators on PCBs. It act as an important supplement to the ionic contamination measurement in detecting critical residues which are unverifiable in a water- alcohol mixture.

analytical service Resin Test
Resin test detects visible resin/rosin based residues on PCBs via colour reactions. This test complements analytical methods such as Ionic Contamination measurements (detection of inorganic residues) and the ZESTRON Flux Test (detection of activators/acid).
