Job Title: Inside Sales Specialist

General Job Summary 

The Inside Sales Specialist position is a fundamental role that requires working closely with the outside Mexico sales management team to mine and qualify prospects, manage new leads, leverage marketing initiatives, and provide data analysis. This position will be the direct go between for the Mexico team and US operations.  The Inside Sales Specialist will report directly to the Sales Director.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Provide support for outside sales management team and other departments
  • Proactively prospect for new customers through database mining and marketing initiatives 
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate team members for further development 
  • Interact with current customers primarily by phone to increase sales of products and services
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting Latin American sales, department initiatives and status reports
  • Assist with documenting and maintaining accuracy within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database 
  • 20% travel required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • BA/BS degree in related field or 3+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Self-motivated, creative and outgoing with the ability to operate independently and develop strong working relationships across teams 
  • Works effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be fluent in both English and Spanish, written and verbal
  • U.S. Residency or US Citizenship required
